My love for sculptural welding began five years ago without any experience or knowledge, just a curiosity that it sounded interesting. It has become quite a journey in a short time that I have come to love, and the path to each piece is not always smooth, as most artists will tell you! While being schooled in the mechanics and techniques of welding, I soon discovered the beauty and flow held within the metals that I worked with. I have tried to find my way through functional pieces as well as recycled art forms using new and various welding methods in the designs of my work. I feel with each new sculpture that is created I learn something new about imagination, technique, and mostly myself. Trying new ideas and stretching to do things I didn’t think myself capable of, is what makes each artist special and unique. I hope that people continue to enjoy my work as much as I love creating it. .
